C.K Akunnor Hails Kotoko Player After Kariobangi Sharks Draw

Asante Kotoko gaffer, C.K Akunnor has applauded his players after they contained Kenyan side, Kariobangi Sharks to a 0-0 draw in the first leg of the 1/16th round at the Kasarani Stadium on Saturday.

Each of the two sides had chances to score especially the home side, but with no one seeing the back of the net.

“At the end of the day, it is a good result for us because we didn’t concede.

"We held our lines very well despite the fact that it was a tough game.

"I think my players gave their best and I am satisfied with a draw,” Charles Akonnor, the Kotoko tactician said after the game.

The return leg at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Saturday will be a spectacle.
