Empoli Considering Improved Offer For On-Loan Afriyie Acquah To Stay

Empoli are convinced about handing Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah an improved permanent contract after an explosive start to the Serie A campaign.

Acquah is on a season-long loan move from Torino and will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season.

The Ghana international has featured in all three league matches so far and become a key player for the returnees.

Acquah, 26, has been named in the Serie A Team of the Week after their opening day win over Cagliari.
