Andre Ayew Urges Teammates To Work Hard After Shocking Home Defeat To Kayserispor
Ghana international, Andre Ayew has called on his teammates to bounce back stronger after their home defeat to Kayserispor.
Fenerbache were defeated 3:2 at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium on Saturday evening.
The 26-year-old broke the deadlock of the game for Fenerbache with a thumping header in the 13th minute.
However, Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Mensah pulled parity for Kayserispor from a free kick in the 52nd minute.
The Swansea City loanee played a part in Fenerbache’s second goal after he set up Islam Slimani with a perfect ball from the right before the latter shot home from 16 yards.
An own goal by Martin Škrtel drew Kayserispor back on level terms.
Tjarron Chery scored in the 69th minute to put the visitors in the lead for the first time.
