Kwadwo Asamoah Returns To Training Ahead Of Serie A Opener Against Sassuolo

Ghana international, Kwadwo Asamoah has returned to training after shaking off injury doubts ahead of the new Italian Serie A season.

Asamoah suffered an ankle bruise over the weekend in the International Champions Cup final against Atletico Madrid last week Sunday. A game the Italians won 1-0.

The 29 year old who joined the Nerazzurri in the summer on a three-year deal is back at training and looks poised for the season opener against Sassuolo on Sunday.

The Ghanaian has enjoyed a terrific preseason with the Nerazzurri, showing immense work ethics and becoming a staple of the Inter side ahead of the new campaign.

The former Udinese midfield kingpin is expected to play a key role in the Inter team this season, with the club's return to the Champions League for the first time in six years.

He faces compatriots Kevin Prince Boateng and Alfred Duncan on Sunday in Sassuolo.
