WAFA Deputy Coach Ibrahim Moro Blames Player Exodus For Side’s Dip In Form

Deputy trainer of WAFA Ibrahim Moro has blamed the side's recent dip in form to the movement of players from the club to other sides.

Moro made the comments after his side failed to win against AshGold at the Sogakope Park on Wednesday after, sharing the spoils with the Miners.

WAFA has failed to win a game in their last five outings, managing just a draw and four defeats despite playing attractive football.

'Most of our key players travelled outside and that is affecting us greatly. Some also left to join other clubs in the local league and honestly, those were matured players,' Tanko said.

He was, however, happy that the class of the play of the side remained the same and despite their inability to win matches, they still play the sexy football admired by all.

Eight regular players including goalkeeper Razak Abalora, Richmond Lamptey, Komlan Abegniedan, Caleb Amankwah, Gideon Waja and Majeed Ashmeru all left the club after the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League season.
