CAF Cup: Faisal Win Away

King Faisal on Sunday beat their Guinean counterpart Felo Star of Labe 1-0 at Conakry`s 28 September stadium in an away first round match of the Confederations of African Football (CAF) cup. Eric Gawu scored the Kumasi club`s lone goal at the 58th minute with a powerful kick that shocked the hosts, whose forwards squandered many apparently easy scoring chances. The Guine Midlands club is currently rocked by an internal crisis following an abortive attempt by three players to play abroad. The team`s coach Mandjou Diallo was forced to sideline the three players, with the blessing of the club`s president, Mamadou Thiangui Diallo.
