Disciplinary Committee Throws Out Olympics Protest Against Elmina Sharks

The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association has thrown out a protest filed by Accra Great Olympics against Elmina Sharks.

Great Olympics who have been relegated from the top flight filed a protest against Elmina Sharks for allegedly fielding two unqualified players in their Ghana Premier League match played at Nduom Stadium.

Samuel Arthur and Farouk Mohammed, the two players under controversy were deemed eligible for the match after an assessment of the issue by the committee which was made up of lawyer Prosper Harrison Addo, Eva Okyere, Osei Kwadwo Addo, W.O.1 J. W. Amoo and Alex Kortey.

Great Olympics, therefore, has three days to file an appeal over the verdict by the disciplinary committee.
