Betting Scandal… Opare Adoo Adamant Investigation Will Bring Stability

The Public Relations Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo believes reporting the alleged match-fixing scandal to the right authorities will bring sanity.

According to several media reports, former driver of the head coach [Kenichi Yatshuhashtsi], Joshua Acquah has been implicated in a match-fixing scandal.

Joshua Acquah who was a worker at the club has resigned from his position after the alleged allegations was referred to the police.

However, the hard-working PRO revealed that Management and Board of the club at a meeting reported the matter to the police for further investigations.

“Accra Hearts of Oak as a club has reported the incident to the Police service and we seek to clear all doubt of corruption surrounding the club and football will be sanitized at the end”, Opare told Accra based Asempa.

Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak will play Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium for matchday 30 of the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League.
