Hearts of Oak Players Boycott Training Over Unpaid Bonuses

The players of Accra Hearts of Oak on Friday, October 13th, boycotted training at the Ajax Park, Legon, due to unpaid wages and bonuses.

According to several reports in the local media, the playing body are owed two months’ salary accompanied with winning bonuses as they refused to train despite holding talks with the technical team.

This news comes as huge blow as they prepare for the match-day 29 fixture against Medeama this weekend as well as their crucial FA Cup encounter against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko on October 29 at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
