Kwasi Appiah Pleads For Media Leniency As He Retakes Black Stars Job

Prodigal Black Stars coach James Kwasi Appiah has pleaded with sports journalists to soften their critique on him.

Speaking to the press on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the Ghana Football Association’s secretariat the former captain of the senior national team said:

“I always want Ghana to win so I will give my all for the success of the national team,” the returnee coach said.

“I asked for your prayers. My door is will always be open to the media, but I’ll also plead with you that you don’t ask me difficult questions,” Kwesi Appiah added.

James Kwesi Appiah has been tasked by the Ghana Football Association [GFA] to win the 2019 African Cup of Nations [AFCON] tournament in Cameroon and try his possible best to qualify Ghana for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

The composition of Kwesi Appiah’s new technical team looks like a former Black Stars team. The list includes; Maxwell Konadu, Stephen Appiah, Richard Kingston, and former Dortmund striker Ibrahim Tanko.
