Ghanaian youngster Edward Sarpong gains promotion to the Portuguese top flight with Portimonense

Ghanaian youngster Edward Sarpong becomes the second Ghanaian in the space of 24 hours to gain promotion to a European top flight after Christian Atsu's exploits with Newcastle.

The 20-year-old left-back has been phenomenal for the Black and White lads since joining them from Gatefe youth side last year.
