Atlético Madrid captain Gabriel Fernández hails Thomas Partey in Champions League surge

Atlético Madrid captain Gabriel Fernández has hailed the work ethics of Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey after his side secured qualification to the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Partey, impressed for the Spanish side as they were held 1-1 at Leicester City to progress on a 2-1 aggregate.

And captain Gabriel Fernández hailed the Ghanaian and other teammates.

"Thomas (Partey), makes the team much greater. Let's hope that all the people who have not had minutes will get the chance to contribute to this team."
