GFA Cameraman Receives Multiple Death Threats After His Evidence Legitimize Ref’s Penalty Call

The Cameraman of the Ghana Football Association Emmanuel Offei has been receiving threat by a section of football enthusiasts following his video evidence that legitimized referee Samuel Sukah's s decision to award a penalty to Hearts of Oak when they faced Kotoko in the match day 8 of the Ghana premier league.

The referee review committee of the Ghana football Association after taking in evidence of the footage of the football Association’s official cameraman on Friday declared sukah’s call as spot on.

Prior to the footage of the GFA cameraman man, there had apparently been videos by the official broadcaster of the Ghana premier league StarTimes in circulation which had shown the ball hitting the back of the Kotoko defender, Ahmed Adams.

Many who watched the game live have reckoned the ball did not hit the hand of the defender which makes Sukah’s decision wrong even though the angle of the STARTIMES coverage of the incident was very acute to make a conclusion.

Sportstworldghana.com has gathered following the GFA cameraman’s footage which saw the ball hit the arm of Ahmed Adams, Offei has received multiple of threats via messages and phone calls.

The Cameraman has reported the development to the football association and thus to make an official police report.
