FIFA to reveal details of referee Joseph Lamptey's lifetime ban

FIFA will soon publish the full investigations of the lifetime ban handed Ghanaian referee Joseph Lamptey.

The Disciplinary Committee of the World's football governing confirmed Lamptey sanction on Monday for what it terms as indulging in a match manipulation.

Lamptey awarded a dubious penalty to South Africa against Senegal in a 2018 World Cup qualifier back in November.

The ban results from a penalty he awarded to South Africa in a 2-1 win over Senegal in a 2018 World Cup qualifier in November.

He penalised Kalidou Koulibaly for handball, but replays showed the ball hit his knee.
