FC Ifeanyiubah coach Yaw Preko selects teenagers for Remo Stars clash in league

FC Ifeanyiubah coach Yaw Preko has hinted he will select two youngsters when 'The Anambra Warriors' welcome Remo Stars in a rescheduled NPFL fixture on Wednesday.

The under-pressure Ghanaian coach named the two teenagers simply as 'Chinedu', who he said is called 'mosquito' and Solomon also called 'Eto'.

''They are from our feeder team. Both of them are under-19,'' Preko explained.

''Chinedu is a central defender, who also plays from either the right back or left back.

'As for Solomon, he is a striker, blessed with the qualities of a potential great player.

''They will start from the bench and of course when a player is on the bench, chances are he can come in, you never know.

''We need to encourage these young players, they are the future of the game.

''Some of us, like other great players started off this way, so I'm encouraged to give them a chance to help them grow.

''That is the philosophy here at FC Ifeanyiubah.''
FC Ifeanyiubah are 18th on the 20-team Premier League table with 11 points from 10 games going into this matchday 8 rescheduled fixture.

Remo Stars are bottom of the standings on nine points.
