Former French International Sagnol To Visit Ghana

Ex French international Willy Sagnol is due to arrive in Ghana on Thursday January 19 for a five day visit to Ghana under the auspices of the renowned Mirage Football Academy.

Sagnol’s tour to Ghana which will be coordinated by chairman of the Mirage Academy, Sarpong Boateng and will see the former Bayern Munich player undertaking football related activities.

While in Ghana the 39 years old ex manager of Bordeaux will meet the media, and make appearance on Metro TV during the Afcon 2017 group D match between Ghana and Mali.

Sagnol who played for Monaco in the French league will engage coaches and players of Mirage Academy at Gyankama and monitor the level of performance of Ghanaian youngsters at the juvenile level.

This is not the first time that Sarpong Boateng has invited a football legend to Ghana.

In 2012, Eddie McGoldrick, a former Arsenal and Manchester City player worked with young Ghanaian players for three months through handlers of the Mirage Academy.
