Supporters of Dwarfs commend Christine Churcher

Cape Coast, Mar. 7, GNA - Supporters of Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs on Monday commended Ms Christine Churcher, the Member of Parliament for Cape Coast for providing them with free transport to Accra to cheer the club to victory in their Middle league match against Aduana Stars, at the Ohene Djan Sports stadium, last Saturday.

Ms Churcher is the Minister of Science and Environment.

A statement issued by the Supporters Union and signed by its welfare officer, Mr Bob Stephens copied to the GNA Sports also commended the playing body for their excellent performance so far in the Middle League.

The supporters also congratulated philanthropists, followers and sympathisers of the Club for contributing in diverse ways during its appeal for funds to embark on the Middle League.

Dwarfs have so far won three matches, beating King Solomon, Mine Stars and Aduana Stars by scores of 2-1 each to place second in the middle league with nine points.

The statement urged supporters of the Club to troop to Obuasi on Wednesday to offer the club similar support in their crucial match against Kade Hotspurs at the Len Clay stadium.

Hotspurs are currently topping the league with nine points with superior goal aggregate, while Dwarfs are lying second with the same points.
