Jordan Ayew: Ghanaian striker suspended for Aston Villa’s weekend game

Jordan Ayew will not have a part to play when his side Aston Villa face Blackburn Rovers in the Championship on Saturday, after accumulating five yellow cards.

Ayew's fifth yellow card came over the weekend in Aston Villa's 1-1 draw against Birmingham.

Jordan Ayew, despite failing to score had a hand in Aston Villa's goal against Birmingham.

He picked up yellow cards against Bristol City, Rotherham, Nottingham Forest, Birmingham and Luton Town.
