Daniel Amartey: Black Stars defender hails Leicester City's counter attacking football

Ghana international Daniel Amartey has hailed the class of play of the English champion.

Amartey, 21 excelled in a defensive midfield role in Leicester City's 2-1 victory over the weekend.

The Foxes rely on the pace of Jamie Vardy and the skills of Ryad Mahrez when in possession of the ball and their abilty to soak pressure and catch their opponents with swift counter-attacking football.

Daniel Amartey, who joined the team in January from Copenhahan un the Danish League has hailed his team's class of play

"That's our strength - the counter attack - and we have to focus on playing one-twos," Amartey told LCFC TV.

"[Jamie] Vardy has speed, so we have to give the ball to him."
