Wa All Stars maintained their lead at the top of the Ghana Premier with a priceless 1-0 win over New Edubiase in Bekwai.

Winger Emmanuel Ocran scored the decisive goal as he connected to Maxwell Baako’s cross.

New Edubiase’s Nasir Lamine squandered an opportunity to level proceedings when he missed a spot kick for the Bekwai side.

Tried as they did, they failed to find a way past Richard Ofori and the All Stars defence as they fell to their first defeat in Bekwai.

For All Stars, they are 4 games away from glory and could seal the title with a game to spare when they host second placed Aduana Stars in Wa.
