Juventus fans purring over Kwadwo Asamoah's revival in Fiorentina win

Fans were enchanted by Kwadwo Asamoah's man-of-the-match display in Juventus' title defence opener in the 2-1 win over Fiorentina.

Asamoah was handed a start and looked different from the player who managed just four Serie A appearances last term due to injuries.

He found Khedira in acres of space on the penalty spot and when his effort was deflected, substitute Gonzalo Higuain pounced to turn in the rebound from the tightest of angles.

Asamoah looked sharper and covered every blade of grass on the field.
