Ghana Premier League: Kotoko urge fans to shout for penalties during home games

Alhaji Ali Maradona, the deputy Operations Manager of Asante Kotoko has encouraged the supporters of the team to call for penalties whenever their player is brought down in the opponents 18-yard box.

Asante Kotoko have recently benefited from several penalty decisions and have won games as a result of that; the most recent one was a controversial call from the referee in their 1-0 victory against Dreams FC on match day 22.

Ali Maradona has urged the fans to continue to shout for penalties whenever there is an infringement in their opponents' 18-yard box in their favour.

'Kotoko fans must learn how to shout penalty, if our opponent fouls our player in the 18 box we will shout penalty.'

'We will never keep quiet, when you foul our player we will surely shout penalty. If you have megaphone you can bring it to stadium like the one NDC uses for rally'

'So I am pleading whatever our fans can use to shout penalty they should bring it during our matches.'
