Europa League: Defender Nana Asare absent in Gent heavy win

Ghanaian defender Nana Akwasi Asare was not in the Gent squad as the Belgian side claimed a massive 5-0 win over Romanian outfit FC Viitorul in the Europa League on Thursday.

The 30-year-old defender missed the game which took place at the Ghelamco Arena.

Gent recorded an emphatic win in the first-leg and would go into the second round confidently.
