Asamoah Gyan: Ghana captain loses out as highest paid player in Chinese league

Shanghai SIPG forward Asamoah Gyan has been toppled as the highest paid player in the Chinese league after the signings of Brazilian Hulk and Italian striker Graziano Pelle.

Hulk joined Gyan at Shanghai SIPG from Zenit St Petersburg, whiles Pelle would don the shirt of rivals Shangdong Luneng from Southampton.
