English Premier League side Aston Villa has stepped up preparations for a direct return to the Premiership with the return of Jordan Ayew.

Villa have a new manager Roberto Di Matteo who has been tasked to ensure the team return to the Premier League.

The return of seven goal scorer Jordan Ayew has lifted confidence and he has been given the iconic number ten jersey.

Ayew joined Villa from Lorient where he scored seven goals even though that was not enough to save their sorry season.
