CAF Confederation Cup: Medeama share honours with M.O Bejaia

Medeama SC drew goalless against M.O Bejaia of Algeria in their 2 group A CAF Confederation Cup game at the Essipong Sports Stadium, Sekondi on Wednesday.

This leaves Medeama SC in a very difficult state in their bid to qualify into the semi-finals stage of the competition. T.P Mazembe are on top of the group, having their first two games with 6 points, with M.O Bejaia on 4 points, Medeama are 3 with a point and Yanga African are without any point.

Medeama controlled the game and produced all the exciting football, but the lacked finishing instinct to punish M.O Bejaia.

The goalkeeper of Bejaia was also a problem for the Medeama attackers who found it difficult to beat him and were also not sharp enough to beat him.

Muntari Tagoe, the Medeama goalkeeper was virtually on holiday, since the visitors sat at the back and broke into attack with counter play when the need arose, trying to catch Medeama off guard.
