Ghana Premier League: Wa All Stars stay at the top with win against Berekum Chelsea

Wa All Stars maintained their lead at the top of the log sheet following their 1-0 win over Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League at the Wa Park on Sunday.

The Wa giants went straight to action as they bombarded the visitors with a lot of attacks but their leading marksman Richard Arthur was curtailed in the game by Nicholas Opoku.

Wa All Stars before the break broke the deadlock through Abdul Ganiu who punished the away side's defenders for loss of concentration.

There was more action in the second half as Berekum Chelsea came to the party - Solomon Odwo's side piled pressure on the home side in some certain stages of the game but Richard Ofori was on hand to save the situation for his team.

The Pendulum swung into Wa All Stars' favour but they couldn't bury the chances they created as the game ended 1-0 advantage the Wa based side.
