Today in history: GFA vice president passes on

On 14th June, 2012, Jordan Anagblah, the GFA vice president, died aged 55, after battling ailment

He was at the time the chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association and also the vice president of the Ghana Football Association.

Anagblah's enthusiasm for the game and energy were the source of countless successes that Ghana football chalked during his time.

He was the chairman of the Black Satellites Management Committee, when Ghana made history in 2009 as the first African side to win the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
