Hearts goalie Samuel Akurugu handed compassionate leave for late mum's burial

Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Samuel Akurugu has been handed a compassionate leave to go bid final farewell to his late mother.

Akurugu lost his mother weeks ago and she will be laid to rest this weekend.

The club has send our sincerest condolences to the Akurugu family.

He will rejoin his teammates before the start of the second half of the Ghana Premier League on 26 June.
