Ghana midfielder Agyemang-Badu wins fitness battle to excel in Udinese crucial Serie A triumph over Fiorentina

Ghana international midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu overcame his recent injury problems to play the entire match for Udinese in the Little Zebras' 2-1 win over Fiorentina in the Serie A on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old lasted the entire period of the game at the Stadio Communale Fruili as Udinese recorded the win that could secure their status in the Italian top-flight.

Badu had been battling a knock he picked during the 3-1 win over Napoli after the international break.

He was substituted in the 0-0 stalemate with Chievo Verona in the weekend but he was cleared to play for Luigi de Canio's men on Wednesday night and he excelled in midfield as Duvan Zapata and Cyril Thereau scored the goals to win them the match.
