Black Stars: Avram Grant leaves Ghana for Europe to monitor players

Head coach of the senior national team of Ghana, Avram Grant has left the country for monitoring of players in Europe over the next few weeks.

The Black Stars coach travelled to Europe on Wednesday night following approval from the Ghana Football Association.

Grant's assistant Maxwell Konadu will take over monitoring duties in the local leagues until the Israeli returns where he will take over monitoring duties here in Ghana and support activities of the other national teams.

Avram Grant's stay in the country since his appointment as manager of the Ghana senior men's football team has been a subject of debate.
