Ghana FA fails to sanction Kotoko-Veria FC anniversary match because of World Cup qualifier

The 80th anniversary friendly international match between Kotoko and Greek side, Veria FC to be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, November 15 will not come on as planned.  

Organisers of the match, Pacific Football Ghana Limited, told Asantekotokosc.com on Monday that, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) failed to sanction the game because of the Ghana-Comoros World Cup qualifier scheduled for Kumasi on November 17.
