Asamoah Gyan steps up recovery but not fit enough to join Ghana squad for Canada friendly

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan has ruled himself out of Ghana's upcoming friendly match against Canada despite disclosing his return to light training.

The Black Stars captain is still recovering from a hamstring injury he sustained while playing for his Chinese club Shanghai SIPG in September.
