Ghana defender Baba Abdul-Rahman sat on the bench as Chelsea’s shambolic defending continued and their terrible start to the season continued with Southampton coming from behind to record a stunning 3-1 victory at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Rahman, who is signed from German side Augsburg to help solve the Blues’ left-back problems, watched from the bench as the Chelsea defenders capitulated.
