Stand out: Sellas praises brilliant Samuel Tetteh

Black Satellites coach Sellas Tetteh has praised winger Samuel Tetteh after his team won their first game of the 2015 U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.

Ghana beat hot favorites Argentina 3-2 in a tight game on Tuesday evening to go top of group B after drawing their opening game with Austria leaving their coach Tetteh in ecstatic mood.

"The first couple of matches at a tournament are always tough. We analysed the Austria game in detail and did a much better job today. Our minimum target is still to reach the semi-finals, and it won't be difficult to achieve that if we can continue to deliver the kind of performance we produced today.'

Samuel Tetteh was instrumental in that performance with his pace and skill on the ball a constant threat to the Argentines and it was his pass that created the sec on goal for Clifford Aboagye after speedy counter attack.

"I'm very happy with today's match. I was particularly pleased with Samuel Tetteh - but football is and will always be a team effort."

Ghana now face Panama in their final game knowing a draw will see through to the next stage of the competition.
