Former Ghana FA Cup winners Nania FC facing relegation

Former Ghana FA Cup winners Nania FC have sunk all time low as they face the drop from the country's second-tier league.

The Accra-based side, owned by Ghana legend Abedi Pele, are firmly rooted at the bottom of zone three after losing 1-0 at Istanbul on Sunday.

They have amassed a paltry 13 points from 14 games with a game left to end the first round of the country's second-tier league.

It's a sorry situation of a side which clinched the FA Cup four years ago.

High-flying Dreams FC are top of the table after a 1-0 win over Danbort.
