Accra Open Swimming Championships Today

The Accra open Swimming championships will take place today at the university of Ghana Swimming pool, legon.

The championships, which will be organized in 50-meter swimming pool with six (6) lanes, will be under FINA and CANA regulations and rules and be conducted on a timed final basis.

The age categories for swimmers range from 6 years and under to 17 and above.

There will be competition in individual and teams events for boys and girls in 50m breaststroke, 50m freeclass, 50m backstroke, 50m butterfly, 100m Freeclass, 100m breaststroke, 4x50m freeclass relays, 4x50m freeclass relays (mixed).

Top national swimmers such as Ophelia Swayne, Kwaku Addo and Abeiku Jackson are expected to excite lovers of the sport with their technique, skill and power.
