Hearts coach allays injury fears of striker Gilbert Fiamenyo, to be rested for FA Cup match against Bolga Man City

Hearts of Oak coach Herbert Addo is confident striker Gilbert Fiamenyo will make a quick recovery from injury to play in Sunday's league clash against Wa All Stars.

The 22-year-old picked up an unspecified injury during Hearts' 3-2 win away to Olympique de Ngor in the CAF Confederation Cup on Saturday.

The injury threatened to disrupt the fine form of the former Heart of Lions striker who currently leads the goalscoring charts in the Ghanaian top flight with eight goals.

Coach Herbert Addo has however allayed Fiamenyo's injury fears but reveals he will be rested for the midweek FA Cup game against Bolga Man City.

“The injury is not too bad but he will be assessed in the hospital,” Coach Addo revealed.

“He will be rested for the midweek FA Cup match and I think he will be ready by Sunday for the league game.”
