Kofi Owusu: Berekum Chelsea striker eyes Ghana Premier League goal king crown

Berekum Chelsea striker Kofi Owusu is pitching to become goal king this season in the Ghana Premier League.

The former Ghana youth international has bagged five goals in nine league matches.

This season, he became the first player to score a hat-trick when his side beat Bechem United 4-2 at home.

“Berekum Chelsea first but the goal king award is my personal target, 17, 18 goals won't be bad,” he told sportscrusader.com

“It will be a long race because the season is still young and there are other players also aiming to win the award. If I continue with my good form in front of goal, I will come on top.”

Owusu had unsuccessful spells at Premier League sides Liberty Professionals and Aduana Stars.
