Amazing recovery: Isaac Akuetteh to return to action

Ghanaian youngster Isaac Akuetteh will be back playing in January for AC Milan, six months after he was hit by a train.

The 15-year-old was riding his bicycle in Cadrogo, near Como, on August 31. As he was listening to music on earphones, he did not hear the train arrive as he went over the crossing.

He was in serious condition and kept in a coma to help him heal, but his recovery has been remarkable.

Akuetteh has now been passed fit to resume his football career and will return to AC Milan from his loan spell at Serie B side Varese.
