Kenny Tete: Ghanaian starlet signs new contract at Ajax Amsterdam

Dutch-born Ghanaian youth defender Kenny Tete has put pen on paper to sign a new contract at Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm. 

The 19-year-old's existing Ajax contract was due to run out next month but the Amsterdam giants have offered him a new one-year deal to remain at the club.

Tete, born to a Ghanaian father and a Dutch mother, has played a crucial role for Jong Ajax in the Dutch second-tier league but sometimes breaks into the club's first team squad for game and has sat on the bench for two Eredivisie game.

But, has scored twice from defence in 13 appearances for the Jong Ajax side.
