Ghana FA boss slaps Asempa FM, presenters Songo and Abatay with $3m defamation lawsuit

Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi has filed a defamation lawsuit against one of the country's leading media houses, two of its sports presenters for labeling him as a thief.

Multimedia Group Limited, the holding company of Asempa FM, and two of its sports presenters Patrick Osei-Agyemang affectionately called Countryman Songo and Sports Morning Show host Kofi Asare-Braako have been served the writs of defamation.

Nyantakyi has lodged the libelous statements calculated at damaging his reputation in the eyes of the public, totaling US$ 3 million.

The CAF Executive Committee member wants an end to the bad-mouthing and unprofessional conduct of the above-mentioned journalists to end.
