Kevin Boateng still out as Schalke manage narrow win over Baba Rahman's Augsburg

Schalke managed a slim 1-0 win over Augsburg without injured Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng on Friday.

However defender Baba Rahman started and played full throttle for Augsburg.

Boateng has been out of action since playing in Schalke's 4-3 win over Sporting Lisbon in the Uefa Champions League on October 21.

Dutch star Jan-Klaas Huntelaar struck the only goal of the game in the 37th minute for Roberto Di Matteo's men with Boateng watching from the stands at the Veltins Arena.

Though it was Augsburg who dominated play by enjoying 56 percent of possession but Schalke tactically won the game over them.
