RKO goal style: Footballers celebrate goal with wrestling move

The Randy Orton RKO craze sweeping the internet moved into a bizarre parallel universe on Saturday when a pair of Scottish football stars produced a real-life version of the wrestler's finishing move.

Dundee's Jim McAlister and Gary Harkins produced the celebration during the 3-1 win over Motherwell, and it has to be said that they did a damn good job of it.

As Harkins stood with his arms aloft, McAlister pretended to grab him by the head and throw him to the floor in the iconic wrestling slam.

The internet sensation, which has recently been applied to various videos of people falling over, features Orton throwing someone to the ground 'out of nowhere'.

And the wrestler himself seemed to approve, tweeting 'nice celebration, work on your form' to Dundee's official twitter account.

If you've not yet come across the whole 'RKO' thing, well, he's a wrestler whose pretend attempts to pull opponents' heads clean off their necks has made famous.
