Celtic manager Rony Deila praises impressive debutant Mubarak Wakaso

Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso wasted little time in introducing himself to the Celtic faithful after grabbing a goal on his debut against Salzburg in the Europa League.

The 24 year-old opened the scoring on 14 minutes to give the Scottish giants the lead in their 2-2 draw on the road.

His manager Rony Deila lauded the Ghanaians all-round performance on his first outing for the Bhoys.

“I think Mubarak gave a good account of himself considering he hadn't played in a long while but the most important thing is that the team kept it's shape and hopefully are able to build on from here,” he said.
