Ghana World Cup star Kwadwo Asamoah starts pre-season with Juventus

Ghana World Cup star Kwadwo Asamoah began pre-season training with Juventus at the Vinovo on Monday morning.

The versatile midfielder was among Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Pirlo, Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci Claudio Marchisio, Mauricio Isla, Martin Caceres, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Andrea Barzagli who reported for a first day's work under new coach Massimiliano Allegri.

Asamoah and the returning internationals tackled a series of rigorous intervals during a challenging 90-minute session.

He played all of Ghana's three Group G matches as the Black Stars crashed at the first round.

The 25-year-old played 34 appearances including 32 starts and scored two goals.
