NMIS Tag Rugby: Nkwantanang win Madina zone
In the event, Faith Community Baptist (hosts), Gina International, In God We Trust Preparatory and Nkwantanang Primary 1/2 were grouped in Pool A whilst Watered Garden, Cradle Stars, Oxford and Nkwantanang 7/8 were in Pool B.
Nkwantanang 7/8 of course came out tops of Pool B and duly defeated Pool A champions, Gina International to win the tournament with Oxford carrying home the Plate Cup after defeating 2-1 fellow Pool runners-up, Nkwantanang 1/2.
“We are committed to rugby and we want people to know that Ghana is not just about football. We are looking ahead to the Confederation of Africa Rugby (CAR) tournament in Burkina Faso,” Mr. Palmer-Jeffery added.
