Nana Konadu Boxing club formed

A new Boxing club known as Nana Konadu Boxing club has been formed by mr K. Amo-Badu, a sports enthusiast at sunyani on 8th march, 2004.

The club is formed to honour the former world Bantamweight champion Nana Yaw Konadu who is a great son of Brong Ahafo.

Mr .Amo-Badu said six boxers have so far been registered.He asked potential boxers in the Region to register with the club.He appealed to all sons and daughters of B/A Region to support the club in kind or cash.The immediate requirements are boxing gloves and a boxing ring where the boxers would train.

The club will be inaugurated very soon.Other members of the club are Mr .Raymond Yeboah and Nana Nsiah a former boxer.
