Ishmael Yartey has been impressive for FC Sion

In-form Ghana midfielder Ishmael Yartey says making a return to the Black Stars ahead of a potential 2014 World Cup berth will be a deserved one.

The 23-year-old has been marvelous since he joined Swiss side FC Sion last summer.

The Ghanaian international scored his first goal for the side in their 2-1 win over Grasshopers and was again scintillating for the side as they cruised to a comfortable 3-0 succes over Luzern.

The nimble-footed enforcer is confident his excellent displays will earn him a recall into the Black Stars.

“I am working extremely hard here and I believe my hard work will pay off,” Yartey told Asempa FM

I am performing well for my team (FC Sion) and I wouldn't be surprised if I get a call-up to the national team.”

Yartey commands an impressive work rate and could be handed a recall to the team with such sparkling performances.
