Heart Of Lions Fined Us$ 625 For Delaying Start Of Match

Heart of Lions

Heart of Lions are liable to a Ghana FA fine of Gh¢1,250 (US$ 625) for delaying the kick-off of last Sunday's 1-0 win over Dwarfs.

The match started late due to the absence of an ambulance which is now mandatory for clubs to provide before a match gets underway according to Article 42(1) of the Regulations.

The delay is in breach of Article 23(1)(A) of the Regulations.

The Ghana Football Association forced clubs to provide the mandatory emergency health post at very league centre.

It will be recalled that a Heart of Lions collapsed at the Baba Yara Stadium four weeks ago and there was no ambulance to transport him to the hospital.
